Using Rasti

Terms of Service

Effective and last updated: July 16, 2026

Rasti is a simple garden and plant journal. An account is optional: local features work in your browser, while Google sign-in enables server sync and shared gardens.

Using the service

You may use Rasti for lawful personal record-keeping. You are responsible for the text and photos you add, the invitation links you share, and activity performed through your Google-authenticated session.

Your content

You keep ownership of your content. You give Rasti only the limited permission needed to store, process, display, synchronize, and share content as you direct. This permission ends when the content is deleted from active server storage, subject to limited backup retention described in the Privacy Policy.

Shared gardens

A shared garden is one common copy visible to its members. Viewers can read it. Owners and co-owners can change it, and their changes affect every member. Choose collaborators carefully and keep invitation links private.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful or harmful content, infringe another person's rights, attempt to access another account or garden without permission, interfere with the service, evade storage limits, or use automated traffic that harms availability.

Availability and backups

Rasti is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, and online sync may occasionally be unavailable. Keep copies of information that is important to you. Local-first operation and server backups reduce risk but are not a guarantee against every form of data loss.

Plant information

Rasti stores your observations and tasks; it does not provide professional horticultural, agricultural, medical, or safety advice. Confirm plant identification, toxicity, treatment, and care decisions with an appropriate trusted source.

Account and termination

You may stop using Rasti at any time. Signing out clears the current device while retaining the copy saved in your account. You may remove the account copy while retaining an independent local copy on the device, or delete data from both places, as described in the Privacy Policy. Access may be limited when necessary to protect users, comply with law, or stop serious misuse.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Rasti's operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for loss of plants, crops, content, profits, or opportunities resulting from use of the service.

Contact and changes

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@ramigo.org. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
